The WindTower climb was my second multipitch climb (4 pitches) after the First Flatiron. I was very excited and our good friend John Parsons was leading the climb. After this climb, my PaPa was hooked and climbing multipitch outside was what climbing was about. This climb was absolutely beautiful and I would love to see other kids climb this! I love to bring my friends to Eldorado Canyon and point to what I climbed!

Most people who never climbed before go "oh my God" with this picture. Funny thing is that I really am just finding BUGS. Lead climbers are not use to waiting for the second climbers to find bugs and chase pigeons, they always ask "What where you doing" and I say "Finding Bugs" and they start laughing. Don't Tom Caldwell and Lynn Hill search for BUGS on those Big Wall climbs?

OK, I will let you in on a secret. KIDS WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET TO A CAVE. When I was 4, I walked for hours to get to Mallory Cave and when I got to the top I asked my PaPa "How far is it to get back to the Car?" which was a really bad question. I will be climbing Ruper before the year is done so I can go to that HUGE CAVE.

This is me on the top, I was tired and started looking for BUGS. John tried to find the way down but he had to wait about 1/2 hour while I was searching. After this climb, I went to the Bastille direct route crack and climbed up 10 feet. I showed PaPa and John that I could climb the Bastille crack and this would be next! They did not think I could do it because my hands are small but they forgot that I could fit my feet in the crack!
